An immersive performance installation presenting practice-research from Hank Bamberger's doctorate at Coventry University's Centre for Dance Research. Ten-inch platform stilettos serve as conduits of embodied strife, repose, reincarnation, and doingness as the body moves through material ecosystems of paint, canvases, tarps, and scrap metal. The body actualizes the labor and difficulty of confessional surrender. Ritualistic behaviors transform ephemeral actions into physical artifacts, finished products crafted improvisationally through contented mayhem and organized chaos. Live video projection doubles and distorts the flesh across architecture, generating unrepeatable performances followed by talk-backs.

Seating is limited. Registration through Eventbrite is strongly encouraged.
