Artist Bio: Mimi Cave is a filmmaker, choreographer, and artist based out of Los Angeles, New York, and London. Her work combines arresting art-direction, authentic, natural performance, spectacular choreography and a mischievously off-kilter sense of fun. Beginning her career in the world of dance, she inevitably turned her hand to the world of music video, helming films for Vance Joy, Danny Brown, Sleigh Bells, Sylvan Esso & Tune-Yards. Her commercial work is characterized by graphic art-direction, dynamic movement, and effortlessly natural performance. Her shorts and music videos have premiered on Nowness and aired on PBS. They also screened at film festivals worldwide, including the Los Angeles Film Festival, the San Francisco International Film Festival, and the Denver International Film Festival to name a few.
