DESCRIPTION:AI-Powered Machine Learning for Research Across the University
is a two-day workshop for faculty and students designed to introduce parti
cipants to practical machine learning techniques for research data analysi
 s\, including data preparation\, model training\, and results assessment.\
n\nThe workshop is designed to be approachable regardless of academic disc
ipline\, previous experience with AI\, machine learning\, or programming.
No prior machine learning or programming experience will be required\, as
participants will learn to use and critically evaluate generative AI tools
for building and customizing machine learning pipelines. \n\nWorkshop ses
sions will emphasize hands-on application\, with participants encouraged t
o bring their own research data. ITS will provide technical support during
and after the workshop\, and will have laptops available for participants
\, if needed. The workshop will also include access to Claude AI to use du
ring the sessions. There will be a break for lunch and additional breaks d
uring the morning and afternoon sessions for coffee/snacks. \n\nThis works

who will lead the sessions along with Professor of Biology and Mathematic
s and Picker ISI Director Ahmet Ay\, and ITS Systems and Security Operatio
