Mind, Brain, and Behavior in the Arts and Humanities
About this Event
This discussion will focus on the connections between the arts and humanities and the Robert H.N. Ho Mind, Brain, and Behavior Initiative (MBBI).
Ben Lennertz, associate professor of philosophy and chair of the MBBI advisory committee, will share a brief presentation about MBBI's programs that support research and activities related to mind, brain, and behavior. Then, he will take questions about MBBI. Finally, he’ll lead a brainstorming session on how to further the connections between MBBI and AHUM. A goal of this part of the session is for MBBI to learn how it can better support scholarship and creative work in the arts, humanities, and interdisciplinary fields.
Refreshments provided. All are welcome.
