Join the Colgate Innocence Club to hear from two speakers, Laurie Jubelirer and Yahya Moore, and participate in our larger discussion about criminal justice and wrongful convictions. Laurie is a criminal defense and civil rights attorney with her own practice in the Philidelphia area. She is also a member of several bar associations and publishes her clients' experiences on various platforms in hopes it will bring about positive changes in the system. Yahya served 27 year in prison for a crime he did not commit and overturned his wrongful conviction in 2023. He now helps others in similar circumstances gain their freedom through his co-founded non-profit and his work as a paralegal for the Innocence Project.
