Transgender Day of Remembrance

In 2017 alone, at least 25 transgender people have been murdered in the United States. This dayserves to honor the lives of transgender people who have been victims of anti-trans violence.

Join us in Judd Memorial Chapel, for a service including a reading of names, poetry, personal reflections, and a family dinner to commemorate these lives and bring awareness to the appalling rates of violence against trans individuals, particularly trans women of color. Sponsored by LGBTQ Initiatives, Office of the Chaplains, and Queer & Trans People of Color Student Org
