NASC Colloquium: Stone Age Voyaging and the Spread of Early Farming in the West Mediterranean
Albert Ammerman, Classics Department, will speak on the background on the start of the research at Stanford with Luca Cavalli-Sforza (where Albert was in the Genetics Department there and taught in the Human Biology Program), and his work on pre-Neolithic voyaging to the island of Cyprus in the Eastern Mediterranean from 2003-2012.
