Living Writers Series: Elizabeth Kolbert reading

Elizabeth Kolbert won the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for The Sixth Extinction, which also appeared on The New York Times’ top 10 books of the year and The Guardian’s list of the 100 Best Nonfiction Books of all time. Among Kolbert’s many awards and honors are the 2010 Heinz Award, a National Magazine Award, and the Blake-Dodd Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. The author of two previous books (The Prophet of Love and Field Notes from a Catastrophe), Kolbert has been a staff writer for The New Yorker since 1999. She lives in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
