Hip Hop Histories Presents: A Lecture/Demonstration with Di'nita Clark - Reception to Follow

Di’nita “Princess Di” Clark is a Philadelphia native. She dedicated over 13 years to hip hop/street dance culture as a professional dancer/performer, educator, mentor, choreographer, community leader and cultural ambassador of street dance. She is a graduate of the University of the Arts with a BFA in Modern dance. She toured professionally for 10+ years with Ill Style and Peace Productions and Rennie Harris Puremovement. Over the past five years, she has been dedicated to cultivating the next generation of artists in hip hop dance to become knowledgeable, well- rounded artists, leaders and representatives of hip hop dance and culture. She is also a co- founder/ Asst. Artistic Director / Choreographer of an educational program called Funky Sole Fundamentals and Just Sole! Street Dance Theater Company. Both conceived in 2010-11. She is currently teaching at the University Of The Arts, Temple University, and Drexel University.
