"Getting Ready to Teach" Workshop: Google Suite for Teaching

This session explores a collection of Google tools to support teaching and learning. Through a series of sample use cases, we will demonstrate how Google Drive, Docs and Calendar, Forms and Slides can facilitate collaboration between students and among your colleagues. We will consider the use of Google Hangouts for bringing in a guest speaker, or office “after-hours.” Set up a profile in Google Scholar to post your published articles. Informed by case studies and best practices, this session will give participants a set of practical tools they can immediately put to use. We will reserve time at the end of the session for guided practice and devote time to individual questions.
