Geology Seminar: Painting Below Zero: Art-Geology Adventures

Lily Simonson, Artist-Painter will speak.  Sponsored by the G. Arthur Cooper Endowment Fund.  This talk will explore how a painter found herself at the bottom of the world and the bottom of the ocean interpreting some of the Earth's most threatened landscapes.  How do scientists and artists collaborate to create new discoveries in the world's most amazing settings?  Food will be served, please bring your own beverage.
